Unfort. I don't think #UCLA students really KNOW what it means to have FREEDOM of SPEECH, at least not the kids who work at #HammerMuseum ... Its supposed to guarantee laughter, negative criticism...almost everything except yelling "FIRE" 🔥 in a crowded theatre.

Some very rated X stuff in this exhibit at hammer museum. Christians should avoid ⚠ 🚫 lot of  phallic stuff, not artistic. Just obnoxious & 'prurient'...& the people ("guards") (who are mostly ucla students i think ) look so grim & unhappy ..but hammer staff apparently love this kind of exhibit ..its NOT the 1st time..i made a 1st amendment comment which guarantees the freedom of speech & one of the skinny grim white male ucla student/guards followed me to the door as if he thought he was escorting me out ...but i was actually leaving ..the funny thing is at hammer museum which cites the 1st amendment as a legal right to display exhibits such as this ...they don't seem to think it also applies to criticism of such ..they have SO MANY people here just licking their chops to throw out a white conservative male ...they would love to have ANY EXCUSE ..legitimate or concocted ..its disgusting...such a liberal cess pool..they don't even see their hypocrisy .. They are unable to self-critique themselves...

Hammer review, very disappointed

The hammer currently (Aug2019) has an exhibit called "au naturel" which features a lot of nudity ...& even tho i am a conservative Christian i do NOT immediately reject nudity if it is presented tastefully in an art museum setting rather than for voyeurs sake or prurient sake, but this exhibit fails because it lacks class & lacks good taste. It presents numerous "nude" objects or photos or objects representing nudity ... Including an over-abundance of phallic objects ... & then to top it off they throw a crucifix on the wall at the end of the exhibit ... An obvious middle finger to Christian/Catholics . its an angry exhibit. Some parts actually could be funny but the "monitors" who watch your every move (most of them brainwashed ucla students, i think) seem to have been instructed to make sure the exhibit is treated as serious art. In fact thats always the milieu in this liberal cesspool ...theres NO REAL FUN here... too many liberals watching every move, every facial expression, everything about you...to relax & truly express your thoughts & feelings which is the opposite of freedom, paradoxically.

11/8/18 HAMMER IS SOMETIMES COOL, sometimes offensive, & almost always irritating when the "monitors" stare blankly at you for too long...i assume they get these "security" people or whatever they call them , from UCLA..maybe they get extra credit from their professors to be monitors in the museum..but it is ALWAYS akward being around most of them.. most of whom don't seem to have any actual interest or knowledge in the "art" on the walls..so you can't engage them in conversation .. and many of them are supercillious.. (hey kids, I went to college too ! ( BA/BA/M.Div) ..i know what it's all about.. even though I didn't go to UCLA (although I did do some graduate stuff at the ucla medical center many years ago so I suppose I could say I am a ucla alum, but it doesn't matter.. just be REAL ! , BE HUMAN...nobody is there to steal or damage the "art" on the walls, especially not in the "modern art" galleries.. maybe in the old gallery where there is a van Gogh etc worth money you need to be a tiny bit more serious about your job, but I am sure in the decades of the hammer museum, 99.99999% of the visitors have no malice in mind, including me,..so lighten up, smile a little. Make it a nice day for everybody !
